zoos, patios, and red dogs
I am really glad I decided to come home...I was hesitant. It has been pretty quality. Moms has seen the tattoo, shes ok, just as long as I don't get any more, which I don't foresee happening. I took Heidi for a nice walk on our usual route, and I got her running a bit (she just turned 12) and we ate out on the patio last night and drank wine probably until 1130, then got up and went to the Zoo today. I haven't been there since I worked there 3 summers ago in Special Events planning, so it was cool to show them around where I worked and where we set things up for all our huge charity events.. But Heather was able to meet us and walk around for a bit-Michael is training for an 100 mile marathon hes running (yup, you heard that right.)The animals were so active today! We got some amazing shots of the cheetahs and the lions. I might be meeting up with a close girlfriend tonight for fireworks and cocktails.
I won't be able to come home again possibly until October, or perhaps even TGiv. Sadness.
But in other news, I might be making a spur of the moment trip to North Carolina to visit a friend soon... Let's hope I can make that trip sooner rather than later.
