My kind of town.........

Chicago was full of.....

-driving. To Chesterton. Then to Chicago. Then all over the city.
-tall buildings. Trump Tower, John Hancock whaaaaaaat???!!!
-boat tour fun. Except for the drunk people behind me. Shut the hell up.
-Crate & Barrel. Didn't find the pieces I was looking for, but found 20 other things I liked. Typical
-Purchases at Forever 21..for the first time in like 2 years. It is weird to be more consious when shopping at those kind of stores. As you get a bit up there in your 20's the fine line starts...I am still not sure about that little black number I bought. hmm.
-Awkward conversation with cousins you never see
-Hugs
-Gospel choirs
-Random run-ins with distant relatives in the middle of Millenium Park (seriously, don't think I have ever seen my mom run and tackle someone like that before)
-Fantastic cocktails on the top of John Hancock
-Amazing views in the ladies room of John Hancock
-Endless stories about grandma's house
-Bean pictures
-Stroll and lunch with someone kind of handsome
-Who also doesn't like city traffic
-Out of control soccer game...so who the hell is Honduras actually playing?
-One of the best continental breakfasts ever.
-Marriott. Yay for Marriott credit card points!!
-Walking the streets with my headphones. Felt like I lived there for a hot minute. But oh wait.....Muncie.
-Hoochie mamas in Borders book stores....what?
-Augusten Burroughs. I really like the name Augusten.
-Rain
-Chicago pizza
-Wine to go with the Chicago pizza

I wish I could go every weekend....
