oh my

I fired yet another RA today. Second one. Firing people ranks in the top 10 list as Worst Things You May Ever Have to Do in Life list. This year has been a doosy. Thankfully, everyone that currently hates me (staff, desk staff, a majority of Klipple) will be gone in 4 days.

On a happier note, I finished the piece that I helped a student out for her choreography class. We performed it yesterday. Attached is a picture from our last rehearsal.




For some background, the piece we performed was about the current oppression and devastation in Tibet. We had to perform monologues while we danced, and mine was about a woman that is forced to be sterilized if she does not have an abortion. Hence, the red paint all over my belly. When we performed it, I was wearing a black sports bra and shorts, so all the skin I was showing was covered in red paint. It was pretty disturbing, but hopefully some eyes were opened.
