Revelations
.) I think I am going to stop drinking for awhile. For the last month, NOTHING has tasted good to me, I don't know why. I could do it with pop, I think I can do it with alcohol. If I don't end up quitting completely, I will at least drink less and fill my body with more water and more decaf tea.
.) It is wedding season, so of course everyone is posting their pics on Facebook. I will never cease to be disappointed with people's choices. Boring, ugly, tacky, and more boring. Sometimes I think I need to go back to my special events planning self. But alas, it is their day, not mine.
.) Had a good conversation last night with some colleagues about supervising. I learned I may need to change my ways a little to reach the results I want with whom I supervise. I can do it.
.) This summer I am going to spend more time reading and less time watching TV. Might be less exciting and people might think I am a bore, but I don't give a damn. I think it will be mentally/intellectually stimulating, and my mood music (Debussy, Chopin, Mozart)will help. I have a pile of things I want to read.
.) I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to move back to Ohio.
.) Streaming Cleveland NPR at work helps with #4.
