I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this movie. It reminds me of my Nana, we would watch it together all the time and sing the words together. I am a bit Austrian as well, so I identify with it a little and admire the scenary from my comfy armchair. It also completes my Easter sunday. It is on tv and I make it a ritual to watch it every year. I also think Christopher Plummer is devastatingly handsome in it, and the crazy thing is he still devastatingly handsome and is in his late 80's by now I think. But of course, Mrs. Julie Andrews is absolutely timeless.These are a few of my favorite things.....

i think i know every word to every song in this movie. it was a staple growing up. we LOVED musicals in my family.

You know....
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens really are two of my favorite things...
HOWEVER, you remain to be one of my favorite things.
Always remember:
When the dog bites or when the bee stings, or when you are feeling sad..
SIMPLY remember your FAVORITE things...
and then you wont feel so bad!
