ohhhhh big time

I have to go meet an RHD candidate in about 20 minutes to take him out to dinner, because I am his interview host tomorrow. This is by far the most jobsy/professional task I have had so far. I mean I have a job, but a lot of it is much different kind of work. There is time when the real jobsy stuff comes in, like now. He is coming from BGSU though, so I know we shall have a lot to talk about. I feel very corporate and important-like, even though in the grand scheme of things I am not really at all. But we are in the typical student affairs interview process, so yup.

I really wish I was at ACPA this weekend in DC with all my student affairs buddies.....and Suz! I have gotten endless texts from colleagues asking," are you here??!!!" No everyone, I am not.

Damn economy and university travel freezes.
