My Oscar experience

Ok people. Over the course of 4-5 hrs, I have documented my favorites/thoughts/judgements about one of my most favorite award ceremonies ever. The list is quite long, so give yourself a bit of time. Feel free to comment :-)

-Tim Gunn on the Red Carpet special-thank you. I enjoy you at all times.
-Kate Winslet. LOVED the HAIR. LOVED the DRESS. She is timeless.
-Jessica Biel's gown...different, but I liked it. The bow wasn't too loud and a good choice of color. If it was a bright color, I imagine it would have been disastrous.
-Anne Hathaway! Gorg. That dress was unbelievable.
-Ryan Seacrest. Ugh, go away please. No one likes talking to you.
-Amy Adams. You have totally defeated the rule that redheads cannot wear red! Beautiful. Not too sure about the necklace though. Seemed a bit misplaced.
-Matthew Broderick as a blonde. Weird.
-Sarah Jessica Parker. Gorgeous. The belt added to the princess gown was a wonderful touch.
-I am over Angelina Jolie. But her green jewels with the classic black gown was fantastic.
-Miley Cyrus. 1.) Gown was heinous. 2.) Why are you there?
-Valentino bugs me. He knows hes a god, but at least try to be humble.
-Viola Davis. I hear her performance was spectacular, I just love the name Viola.
-Hugh Jackman's dancing skills. surprisingly fantastic. give me more!
-Hugh & Annie's duet. Hilariously magical. haha.
-Tilda Swinton. Amazing actress, but a disaster at any formal event. Can you wear color once? Or, wear mascara? Anything? No? ok.
-I was so pleased to see Eva Marie Saint on stage. She was a member of my beloved Beta Mu chapter of Delta Gamma! One of our theatres at BGSU is named after her. That was truly a sight!
-Penelope Cruz. Wished I had that rack.
-Angelica Huston's dress. Really?
-Whoopi Goldberg looked fabulous, you don't see her in a dress often.
-Creative way to announce Original Screenplay! Loved it.
-GREAT speech by Milk's writer, Dustin Lance Black. So much truth, gay rights yeah!!
-Jennifer Aniston. Go you. If I had to present an award and my ex with his gorg wife were sitting in the front row staring at me, I would demand a stiff drink before walking out on stage.
-Sarah Jessica Parker. again. Wouldn't mind her rack either.
-So glad the Duchess won for best costume design! Everyone looked absolutely exquisite. But then again, Keira Knightly always looks exquisite.
-Natalie Portman. Love you.
-Benjamin Button winning best makeup? duh.
-Seth Rogen. You looked delicious. What have you done with yourself? Yum.
-I cannot get enough of Hugh Jackman's musical performances. I have a weakness for top hats, bowties, and fishnet tights. Would have loved to be on that stage.
-Heath Ledger winning best supporting actor. duh. Touching speech by his family.
-Adrien Brody. Even though I am extremely attracted to you, you disappoint tonight.
-Will Smith. Even though all your movies have been amazing, I am also kinda over you.
-Liam Neeson. Your voice soothes me.
-Sophia Loren. I don't care how famous you are, you looked like a hot mess tonight.
-KATE WINSLET'S WIN!!!!! Amazing. You deserved that award lady. Even though I would have been happy if Annie won.
-SEAN PENN'S WIN!! Also amazing. Your speech was wonderful...interesting to hear that there were protestors outside. Scorn to those Prop 8 supporters. Reflection time for you.
-Slumdog win. duh.
-the 2009 movies look fantastic!

Overall, great show. Much more entertaining than years past. I am waiting for Billy Crystal's return as host though.
