First Post

So, I am starting a blog. Obviously. I have no idea who will read it, but even if some people feel like reading it, I would be happy with that. I am going to warn you though-I can be pretty random at times, so there may be a wtf? moment here or there.

I am currently working-it is 3:04pm and the kiddies are all moving out of my building. I love them all, but I am looking forward to a quiet building on Sunday. It is almost eerie when all the students go home-I remember coming back Saturday evening after Thanksgiving-there was a dead silence and stillness, and it is still visible in my mind and I am looking forward to it once again.

Like folks say ever year, I cannot believe it is Christmastime. For some reason, it hasn't really hit me yet. I look at trees and buy things and hear the music, but it is all a blur. It will hit me when I get home and I see my mother's extravagant decorations all over the house.

At times of craze and madness at work, I enjoy moments like this where I can just sit, with my lights dimmed, my candle, and Mozart on Pandora...I will stay in this space as long as necessary today.
